Game app withdrawal guide: verify KYC, bonus and payout terms

A minimum-withdrawal figure is not the complete payout rule. Before depositing, check which balance is withdrawable, whether wagering applies, whose name must match the payment account, and what evidence you can keep if a request is delayed.

Substantially updated · How we classify withdrawal claims

Direct answer: Treat bonus and payout figures shown on listing pages as advertising until the same terms are visible in the current app cashier or official operator terms.

Before depositing: capture the current rules

Open the promotion, wallet, KYC and withdrawal screens before adding money. Save screenshots that show the date, minimum amount, supported payout methods, fees, processing estimate and any turnover requirement. Promotional landing pages can change; the evidence on your account is more useful during a dispute.

  • Legal name on the game account matches PAN, bank and UPI records.
  • KYC status is complete rather than pending or partially verified.
  • The wallet clearly separates deposited cash, winnings and bonus balance.
  • The withdrawal screen shows the same minimum advertised by the listing.
  • Any wagering, turnover, fee or maximum-withdrawal rule is visible.

Cash balance and bonus balance are different

A welcome bonus is often promotional credit rather than immediately withdrawable cash. It may require a deposit, a number of games, a turnover multiple or conversion into winnings. Read the rule before accepting the offer; otherwise the headline bonus can make the available balance look larger than the amount you can actually withdraw.

Record the wallet breakdown before and after play. If a balance moves from “bonus” to “cash”, save the rule that explains the conversion. Avoid assuming that every rupee shown in the wallet has the same withdrawal status.

India tax and TDS are separate from app withdrawal fees

The Income Tax Department's 2026 guide states that net winnings from online games are taxed under Section 115BBJ at 30%, and that Section 194BA provides for 30% TDS at withdrawal or at the end of the financial year when no withdrawal occurs. Read the official Income Tax Department guide to online-game winnings.

TDS, platform withdrawal fees and bonus deductions are different entries. Before confirming a withdrawal, capture the gross amount, net winnings, TDS shown, platform fee and final payout separately. Keep the tax certificate or transaction statement supplied by the operator and obtain professional tax advice for your own filing facts.

KYC and payment-name matching

Many payout delays begin with an identity mismatch. Use a payment account in your own verified name and enter the UPI ID, bank account number and IFSC carefully. A shortened name, different spelling or payment account owned by another person may trigger manual review.

Upload identity documents only through the official app or operator site. Support should not need your OTP or UPI PIN. A request for remote-control access, screen sharing or an advance payment to “release” a withdrawal is a strong stop signal.

Submit a small first withdrawal

After KYC, test the smallest permitted withdrawal before holding a larger balance. This does not guarantee future payouts, but it helps you verify the account-name match, payout rail and support process with less money at risk.

  1. Confirm that the amount comes from the withdrawable cash balance.
  2. Capture the withdrawal rules and completed KYC status.
  3. Submit the minimum permitted amount to your own UPI or bank account.
  4. Save the request time, amount and transaction reference.
  5. Compare the eventual credit with the app’s stated fee and processing terms.

If a withdrawal is delayed

Start with the status shown in the app. “Pending”, “under review”, “rejected” and “paid” require different actions. Avoid submitting multiple duplicate requests unless official support instructs you to do so.

  1. Pending: compare the elapsed time with the processing estimate visible when you submitted.
  2. KYC review: confirm document clarity and exact name matching; replace a document only through the official flow.
  3. Rejected: capture the stated reason, correct one issue, then retry once.
  4. Marked paid: request the transaction reference and check the receiving bank or UPI account.
  5. No useful response: keep the evidence set, stop additional deposits and use the operator’s published complaint route.

Suspected financial fraud: act quickly

If money was debited through deception, stop further payments and contact the bank or wallet through its official channel. The Government of India's National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal says financial-fraud reports should include the bank, wallet or merchant name, transaction ID or UTR, date and amount, plus relevant evidence. Call 1930 and use cybercrime.gov.in for the government reporting flow.

Keep the APK page URL, final download URL, account ID with sensitive digits masked, KYC status, promotion terms, withdrawal screen and support replies in chronological order.

Evidence set for a payout complaint

Keep records focused and chronological. Include the account identifier with sensitive digits masked, KYC completion screen, wallet split, promotion terms, withdrawal request, transaction reference and support replies. Never publish full PAN, Aadhaar, bank or UPI details on a public forum.

How this site labels payout information

  • Publisher-confirmed: visible in first-party operator terms or the current in-app cashier.
  • Listing claim: advertised on a third-party app directory; verify before relying on it.
  • Editorial observation: directly observed during a dated review.
  • User-reported: reader evidence not yet reproduced by the editorial team.

The comparison pages generally show listing claims unless a stronger evidence label is displayed. See the review methodology for our update and correction rules.

Stop conditions

  • Support asks for an OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN or remote access.
  • You are asked to deposit more money to unlock an existing balance.
  • The operator changes the withdrawal rule after your deposit without showing the applicable terms.
  • The app identity or download package does not match the listing you selected.
  • You feel pressure to chase losses or borrow money to continue.

Next steps

Compare visible listing figures on the ₹100 withdrawal page, then check the individual review and current in-app cashier. Read the APK safety guide before installing a package from outside a trusted app store.
